“We have the Nuna mixx nexxt. It’s awesome. We have the bassinet, car seat, the whole thing.”
Picked the Nuna Mixx as an alternative to UPPAbaby; loves the bassinet mode, reversible seat and washable fabric that needed no washing in two years.
“Everyone seems to have Uppababy so I wanted something else in the same range”
Large wheels and good suspension; handles gravelly roads without bothering the baby.
“I have the Nuna Mixx and it’s great. Larger wheels, better suspension. I can go on gravelly road and it doesn’t bother baby.”
Loves the wheels, suspension and rotating seat; small basket but light enough to carry up a stoop with a 17 lb baby.
“I love the wheels and suspension, like others mentioned. It allows for a smooth ride.”
Found it bulky folded until discovering it folds compact with the seat forward-facing, which then fit a sedan.
“I got the mixx next off of marketplace and regretted it because it was sooo bulky when I folded it for my trunk.”
Wheels handle desert rocks and Target aisles, folds in under a minute, mesh back for Arizona heat, bassinet doubles as an indoor sleep space.
“We take our dogs on walks through the desert and that comes with small and large rocks. We needed something that could handle the terrain but would also work going through Target.”
Felt Graco and Chicco were flimsy; the MIXX has excellent build quality and rides smoothly on rough ground.
“The Nuna Mixx, while still a bit big, is relatively lightweight and has excellent build quality. It also offers smooth ride even on rougher terrain.”
Daily walks feel sturdy and smooth even on gravel, and it folds easily one-handed-ish.
“I take daily walks with my baby and it feels sturdy and smooth even on gravel. It folds easily too and I can do it with my carpal tunnel hands without my husband’s help.”
Prefers the Chicco Corso Primo; at 10 months the baby looks too far down in the MIXX and it is rarely used.
“The nuna I feel like could suit her better when she's bigger. She looks awkward in it. Like too far down almost looks like she can slide down.”
Calls the MIXX a lifesaver for walking around town thanks to large wheels and suspension.
“Larger wheels and quality suspension make for a much more comfortable experience for parent and baby.”
Handled city cobblestones well but after moving rural it has been used only about 5 times in a year.
“We had bumpy sidewalks and even cobblestones in places there, and the stroller handled it like a champ.”
Absolutely loves the MIXX next and would buy it again in a heartbeat.
“We have the Nuna mixx next stroller and absolutely LOVE IT. I don’t regret that purchase one bit and would buy it over again in a heartbeat.”
